What has your biggest crochet project been, mine was these bedspreads I made for my 4 children,I made them each one.Plus have made 3 more for wedding gifts. They are made with 2 ply red heart yarn so they are nice and soft and can be cleaned easily.they fit a queen sized bed.

So pretty! And such big projects. I can't do the big projects anymore, I get too bored. But I used to do afghans and must have made about fifty of them. Now I stick to little projects, like doll clothes, that finish up in a few days.

I made one single bedspread but it wasn't a great success. There was a good few mistakes in it so I put it in the charity bag. The best things I ever made was a christening shawl for my first baby. I kept it wrapped in blue tissue paper and she still has it - 35 years later. I also made a few dresses for myself when I was young enough to wear them. These were really nice and lots of my friends asked me to make similar ones for them.

I have a lot of those trial and error things also, just about every time a make a new pattern the rejects are for me.some I should just throw out but I'm my own worst enemy put them in bag and think someday I will fix. (not)lol

I have only made granny square afghans that could be considered large projects. My last project was one that I used a pattern for. It was a pullover hooded jacket. My granddaughter loves it. I was not particularly happy with the end results. But, for it being my first project using a pattern, it wasn't bad. Knitting, for me, is the best way to make a sweater. I can follow basic patterns and they actually come out looking more like the pattern!
