What would you do if you found someone's wallet/purse?

I know this will sound mean.. but I would take it, and go away to the side, checking how much money it has in it. I'm not a thief, but If I found it, and I don't know who's that is, finder's keepers :D

I'd return it. I've had my wallet found and whoever found it took all the money and then turned it in. That really pissed me off. Come on folks. It's still stealing.

Return it or hand it into the local police station. Or give the contents to charity.

I would return it, because with the passes that are inside and everything it will most likely be easy to find the owner. Loose money, I would take I guess, but not a wallet or a purse. There can be stuff in there that people just can't miss. Money isn't the biggest issue, but think about perhaps a memory stick or a picture of someone who passed away? Just giving some ideas.

WEll i think i will definitly return it. I think if we be honest the GOd will compensate us for that.

I've already been there and done that. I found a wallet lying on the sidewalk when I was out walking one day. I looked for ID and returned the wallet to the gentleman's home.
