I really read newspaper everyday and the headlines was the first thing I read and afterwards the editorial for it will speak something of a current events and the editor's view of the situation. So when you had your newspaper in the morning what really caught your attention and what part of the newspaper you are really interested to read?

I read the headlines first thing. Then I read the 'letters to the editor'.It gives you a feel of the hot topics and some good analysis, positive criticism and solutions. Then it's the sports section. After sports,I go to the business, market and corporate section. After that I pretty much let the content decide what I read.Once I am done reading,I solve the sudoku and then I am done.I get most of the news on TV channels and websites ,but a newspaper is always a ready reference when the channel isn't featuring the news you are interested in and the internet connection is playing naughty.I don't think I will change my newspaper habit anytime soon.

hey Maribel,a very good question.I would say that apart from reading the headlines and major stuff on the front page,i love to read the daily supplement.I find it quite useful, informative and helpful in knowing about the latest in your city.

That was a nice article to daily supplement but usually I'm in a hurry so my time was limited to read only the headlines and the editorial but when I get back home sometimes I read all the content of the newspaper. Thanks worthy

I seldom read the newspaper anymore, except for maybe on Sunday. 90% of the news is to negatively slanted for my tastes. I will usually look at the sports pages first. I used to look at the paper everyday. No more. I might check out some other sections, but if I don't, it is no big deal. Sometimes it is nice not to know all the crap going on in the world. Because that is all the media stresses, what is bad or wrong. How can I believe all the junk on TV and in the papers? Everyone in the media has an agenda and very few give unbiased and truthful reporting. I don't need it in my life.

The first thing I look for when I read any newspaper, no matter where it is in the world, is the page with all of the world news on it. It's interesting to see how the media in different countries reports the world news. When I don't feel like reading it in the paper I listen to the BBC World Service.

I don't like all that pages dedicated to politics, with all those politicians who feel like rockstar and like to be on mass media attention. I read news about economy, technology and sport above all.

Definitely the news headlines of the world and the Asia Pacific. other than that, the Forum where people will voice out and discuss their dismay about something or giving suggestions on certain issues.

im not really that type of person who reads news paper or watch news on tv.. i dont know maybe because most of the news now are so depressing and all are negative but when i have a newspaper in my hand i first look at the leisure section before others...it keeps me flooded with good gadgets and things. then after that of course others news that may dismay me.

I don't get the newspaper but the first thing I do when I go online is read the headlines on my home page. I like to read all of Canada's events that occured overnight and any major world events that may have happened.

I guess I'm up to reading more from local news, then world news and sports. I often read the entertainment also, to look for some interesting articles about celebrities!;) I enjoy reading it more because I can have a time to relax from other news that is so disturbing, especially when I see alot of people committing crimes, accidents and the endless politicking of our politicians!;)

I don't usually read newspapers. But if I do get a chance to scan and read it, usually I go to the entertainment section if the headlines don't interest me at all.I also take time to read the editorial articles where the opinions are being showed because I like it when somebody tells his or her own point of view about something that matters to him or her. :)
