What do we do if we catch a mistake in our spelling, and we already sent it?

Maybe we should start a blog or something and collect petitions regarding what we hope myLot will implement. The editing feature is something very nice to have. In my opinion, I would say it's quite a necessity! :P

I agree. Do you think we all should write to them?

Hi Marge One time I made a mistake and put some people email addresses in mylot. I contacted mylot and they removed it, I told them what time I had wrote it, the message that was sent, the title. they did remove it. this morning when I type that message about the dog chasing my Grandson, and he injured his self. I was in a hurry trying to get to work, when I got to the office I notice I made a mistake, but It was too late. But mylot will remove it if you want them to. another thing sometimes when I maske a mistske I will applogized to the person. that what I usually do. +

Having read back over my discussion or response and notice a mistake in my spelling, I will add the correct spelling underneath a response which one can, but cringe when I see it has happened in a topic I have put up and you cannot change it! I have done this a few times and maybe it is because I did not check it before I pushed the button, or was in too much of a hurry! lol

We blush mightily, and trust that people know that we are wonderful, intelligent people anyway. If it really bothers you, go ahead and comment in your discussion, which you cannot do until someone replies. I am more bothered by failing to leave spaces in the right places.

Well after I utter a bad word or two, I resolve to the fact that there is nothing that I can do! Sadly there is no edit button (thank you myLot for realizing that I am a perfect person, a brilliant person, one who never makes a mistake!). So for now we have to just stare longingly at that mistake, wishing that our stares would make it go away! I suppose we could also do something constructive like email the powers that be and beg for an edit button?

You can contact mylot and tell them to fix it if you catch it in time, they have done this for me several times.

There is nothing we can do about if we have already sent it. We just have to hope that people will understand what we were talking about in our discussion. This has happened to me before but we can not created a duplicate discussion otherwise the new discussion will probably get deleted. We just have to catch our mistakes before sending our comments.

I usually post a comment afterward with a correction of the spelling mistake, for example: Sorry, it should have been:.... That´s when I made a mistake answering. I don´t know how to correct the ones made when we start a new post.

I whine. It helps. I wish that we could edit our discussions once they are posted.

I have alot of trouble with spelling so unless they add a spell checker I am in trouble. I made the mistake of starting a discussion when I was upset the other day, one persons comment was you have bad grammar for a Mother. I am not sure what we can do except hope that myLot adds a spell check.

There not a darn thing you can do to correct it. When I was a newbie and didn't want people to think I was ignorant I would put a comment under my response. I don't do that any more unless the mispelled word changes the meaning of my response. When it is a discussion that I've posted and made an error then I cant do anything execpt say shiet and hope users will know what I meant.

There is nothing you can do about this. I have done it frequently. I don't see any way to go back and redo your post.

I know I've had spleeling mistakes like that. I usually let them go, but they're usually just minor ones that are easy to understan what I'm talking about and I don't think anybody would be confused.
