Yeah love can definitely change you. Suddenly the world feels like a happier place to be, feels like there is more purpose in life. Or, if love has hurt you, you'd feel so down and depress and not being your active self... I've seen my boyfriend changed a lot. His friends told me in the beginning, he kept telling them that he does not want anything serious with anyone, was very independent. No could have thought that he now wants the relationship at a serious level. Love is rather powerful I'd say.

I believe love can change a lot. Love has changed me. I reorganized my life, my priorities changed, and as a person, my attitude changed for the better.

There are two things, one is to love, and the other one is to be in love. From your post it's not really clear which one you are referring to. To be (or to fall) in love, is a nice experience, fleeting though as it may be. But it doesn't have any substance, because you are basically in love with the image you have of the other person. 'To love' I find extremely difficult. I know through literature that it is the only thing that can save this world, but nonetheless, it is an art (I recommend Erich Fromm http://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/fromm.html "The Art of Loving") which I haven't fully learned yet.
