Okay, i'm only 56 ratings points away from 500 and i'm jumping up and down in my seat. Okay, not literally, but if it were possible that i wouldn't break the chair by jumping up and down in it, i would!! This is just a discussion on what you did when you finally hit 500, or what you'll do when you do hit it, and just a shameless ploy for me to get to my 500 ratings point using you! LOL

I don't know how you are using us as you get no increase in numbers by starting a discussion, lol. Are you perhaps looking for people to go through to find discussions which you can respond to? :)
I can tell you last week when I hit the 500 mark I was elated and actually did a different kind of discussion to my milestone. I to was jumping up and down and couldn't go to bed until I hit the mark it was like 3:00am.
After reaching the 500 mark for me I went around trying to find discussions that I could add pictures from my file on my computer. This proved difficult, I found that I need more pictures to choose from. So I've been taking my camera around and taking random pictures of things that can be used in discussions. :)
I have the mylot fever! :) Good luck getting to your goal, it's a wonderful feeling!

ah, no, but i do get ratings for the number of people that respond. it's a hopeful ploy! thats what i'm excited about is the adding pictures. I'm just going to pilfer through my wife's cause she's got about 900 pics of different things stashed in the computer. I think she's attached to her digital. Isn't it funny how mylot gets in your blood?

I agree. Anybody that really enjoys the discussions and the different people do got addicted to mylot. And that perfect ten really surprises me on a daily basis! LOL I'll just be so excited to get up to 500. That's my goal. Plus, i'll get to find people that respond to this discussion, add them as friends, and respond to theirs!

Yes you do get rated but your already at a perfect 10, :) and you do get to earn for this discussion also. So all around good. I to am becoming attached to my new digital camera, LOL. I'm so addicted to mylot, I fear that I will need to join a 12 step program soon, LOL.

the being able to add pictures to the responses (when you remember) not just the original subject line, and hey, cut and paste. if i want to link to something else, i don't have to write it down, and then retype it. It's a gateway to laziness, but hey, why not?

LOL yeah, i was so on the countdown. and i've used the copy and paste more than i would, but usually just when i put links in a discussion. it's a lot better than typing it out and..uh..getting it wrong. puts a damper on the discussion! Thanks for helping me reach that!

I know the feeling. I am less than 15 posts away. I can't wait.
I have this discussion I have wanted to post for days but in order to save myself typing for what could be hours I want to be able to copy and paste.
(no one worry my whole discussion will not be copied and pasted just some info)

Go, Go, Go! Hopefully you'll reach it tonight. I can't wait to get that many posts. I sure will appreciate the cut & paste feature being enabled & being able to upload photos into discussions. Best of Luck my friend! :)

Thank you! it seems like it's kinda cheesy to be aiming for that 500 and to be excited, but we've all got to have goals. First it was that 100 for the rating, then 500 for the photos and cut and paste, and then at a thousand..i don't know. maybe it's just being able to look at four digits and be proud of yourself.
