Well, I certainly don't like to be out driving in the middle of a snowstorm. This morning the sun was shining while I was trying to ply the one inch slab of ice off the top of my van. Then we got big, white, fluffy flakes, then more sunshine and more blizzards. It was a weird day. I think it's pretty but I don't want to go out in it driving-wise. I'd rather watch from my window or stand out in it if it's not too cold and windy. If I were to go to a mall I would have to come out and wipe all the snow off my car. Don't want to do that either. LOL!

I love being out in the snow if it is a pretty snowfall--that is, a soft snow, with big lazy flakes and not much wind. It is so beautiful and so quiet. The snowfall covers all the dirt and many ugly things and seems to blanket a lot of the sounds that otherwise never seem to stop. Sometimes I like to just walk in the snow, hearing the little "whoosh" sounds my boots make moving the snow and seeing my footprints and no one else's. (Like I'm the only person in the world right now.) I like the wet feeling of snow on my nose and hair. I don't like snow later when it starts to melt, gets mushy and turns all yellow. I don't like to walk or drive on icy snow. I do love it when it first comes down.

I think it depends on the part of the country you live in as to how you view snow and what you do when it snows. If you live in an area where it only snows once or twice in the winter then you are more apt to view it as a time to get out and make a snowman or snow angels or stay inside around the fireplace and sip hot chocolate. But if you are from an area that gets lots of snow, life doesn't stop just because it is snowing. You bundle up to stay warm and go on about your normal life. I now live in Nicaragua where it is tropical and I have found that the people here really have no concept of the cold temperatures of winter. For these people cold is 70 degrees F. with a gentle breeze.

I'm not very fond of snow, especially when there's lot of it. Of course, the snowy landscape can be breathtaking beautiful, like a Christmas card. But it isn't very pleasant to be out when it snows heavily. What I like most at the snow is how it smells when melting - it is a very specific smell that tells me, the spring isn't far. Felt it this year for first time couple of days ago!

If that was allwe did, the world would stop producing.Mostly, we just get on with our lives as before the snow, On our days of, many people go skiing or skating or other spots that involve snow, and thereare still the diehard runners who will go out running when there is more than a foot of snow on the streets. Where I live, we have snow for 6 months of theyear, and we can't afford to go malling every day.

Here in Ireland we don't get very much snow and when we get a couple of inches of it the whole country comes to a standstill. The schools close so I go into the garden with my grandchildren. We usually try to build a snowman and we have great snowball fights. I love the snow and I wish we had a little more of it.

oh I suffer very much from cold and I am so happy that here in Rome we have such a nice and warm weather...here it doesn't snow very much...when it happens, everything gets crazy because we are not used to it...who can, celebrate the happening..and you can find people playing with snow or being happy...people who have to work, try to be more careful because roads are more dangerous because of the snow...if I could choose I would have only a nice sunny snow day...just to have the sun and the beauty of the snow mixed together..I would have a bit of fun with my friends playing with snow and then have a good and hot lunch all together...imagine the fireplace...a warm and soft atmosphere...and a group of happy people having a nice day together

I do pretty well everything I normally do. Except suntan. I run, go to work, walk to the store. Go shopping. Go to movies. Not too much really changes.
