How many of you have been to watch a sporting event and the teams were kids were 5-12 and the parents were acting like it was the World Series, Super Bowl or Stanley Cup and you could hear them screamin insults at other kids or the other team . My kids have been in sports since they were 5 and they have tried them all and still play most. Why do parent sact like that? Do they no thear themselves? Are you one of these people?

Yes, there is one parent I can think of that is completely competitive and it bringing the same trait out in her children. You can see how stressed the kids are, and how important it is to them to win and have their playing recognized and praised. She stops short of insulting the other players, but frankly she stresses me out, too. I find it very sad.

My children are still very young but if my children will play in an sport event i will support them but not to extent that i will insult others or shout and shout. My brother in-laws are playing in basketball and my father in-law is always supporting them. Providing their needs and watching their play all the time but he doesn't shout nor insult other kids, he just encourage his boys to do good always.
