Hi I read during the week about a taxi driver who got beaten while driving 2 'customers', they beat him quite badly and he had to try and pull to the side of the road, the attackers jumped out of the car before it had stopped and one of them was (unfortunately only slightly) injured. It turned out that rather than these 2 hoodlums being arrested and dealt with , the powers that be decided it would be a better idea to prosecute the taxi driver for dangerous driving!!!1 Honest, I am not making this uo! Think the case was eventually dropped but I feel this sort of thing is happening more and more ; ordinary, decent people are just supposed to allow themselves to be attacked, abused, beaten and robbed and all anyone cares about is the criminals feelings! What are our children growing up believing is this is what they hear about? Any one else feel this is just pc going mad?

I can not give you a good answer on this one. I just know we are in world that everyone is afraid to offend others. There will always be people that will take advantage of this. I am not sorry, but sometimes we just have to speak up.

Well if someone breaks into your house to rob you and gets hurt while on your property they can sue you. That has never quite made any sense to me.
I am sure after a big enough uproar, if the charges haven't been dropped they will be. Probably a few firings and a few recalls.

It is just stupidity gone mad if you ask me. I mean does anyone else remember the whole Freedom fries thing? I remember being a 7 year old on the playground and being more mature and creative about my arguments than some tyrant with a 'paid for by birth degree and job'
