A scientest says Orange, a kid did an experiment and said the papaya. So both are good for you, eat them both. Would say that an orange is probably more accessible in some areas and the papaya is easier to get in other areas. Hope this answers your question.

it is funny how we are all led to believe through out our lives how oranges are just packed with vitamin C... maybe it was a gimmick of the orange growers? well it does have a fair amount of vit c at around 30mg but a kiwi packs 177 mg's! that is a huge difference. blackberries give a healthy serving of this essential vitamin. a lemon only generates less than 5mgs. a lot of veggies also provide vit. c. I am curious about the papaya so am going to look that up and check Okay according to this web site a papaya provides 95 mg for half the fruit so in total that is 190, and slightly better than the kiwi - but that is a lot more fruit to consume for the same amount of nutrition it also says a mango provides the same.http://health.learninginfo.org/nutrition-facts/papaya.htm oh by the way a kiwi also has a lot more potasium than bananas do 588 as opposed to 467

I really do not know the answer to this. I know a lot of fruits and berries contain vitamin c. If i were to guess I'd say the that oranges are the best - maybe along with mandarines and clementines. Lemons?

you may be surprised to know but it is the Kiwi fruit which provides 177 mg of this essential vitamin. Vitamin C is so important for cell integrity and protecting from cell damaging free radicals as well as for cardiovascular health!

I'm not sure if I could give an appropriate reply on this but I'd like to share something with you. It's not a secret, anyway. And if you do have a suggestion, please share it with me. Thanks in advance. You see, I really am not used to drinking any vitamin c supplement or foods rich in vitamin c. It's very seldom when I eat citrus fruits or drink juice. And personally, I've noticed that whenever I eat calamansi or drink calamansi juice, I tend to develop colds; but this type of colds doesn't last longer than a couple of days. I don't know if I'm right in thinking that this behavior of my body is quite unusual or abnormal. But despite of this, I'm thankful that I rarely have cough or colds even if I don't have a steady source of vitamin c in my system. Anyway, I think guava has the most vitamin C of all fruits. There was this one particular incident ages ago when I was almost hospitalized due to eating guavas as I miscalculated that I was going to have my monthly period in a couple of days. I was checked up by a hospital doctor and he told me that guava has more vitamin c than apple and calamansi.

Everybody thinks it's orange, but there is a very popular fruit in Brazil called acerola that has the amount of Vitamin C that you can find in 30 oranges, I said thirty! I have ever heard other fruit that has more Vitamin C than acerola but I can't remember it. If you want read more about acerola visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acerola

The fruit that is most famous for having vitamin C is oranges and similar fruits like Tangerines. Other fruits that are high in Vitamin C are Black Currents and Lemons. If you use a search engine you can find many more and the exact amount of vitamin C that they have.

I think kiwi is full of the Vitamin C. It's a fruit from Australia and New Zealand. It has brown peel and it is green inside. It has very little black seeds and you can just eat it as it's like sesame. Some bad kiwi will taste so sour. But it'll be so sweet for good kiwi.

My favorite fruit are Mangos. I just love them, they are alittle more exotic than most generic fruit like grapes etc but i just love the taste. They are very sweet and juicy so you do have to slice it up and eat it but i love them. I also love making mango smoothies.
