Do you judge people (especially men) by their handshake?

I met my bosses boyfriend the other day and although he's a very attractive (handsome and built nice), well dressed, and well spoken... I had a very bad impression of him because he had an extremely WEAK handshake. Someone once told me that a man with a weak handshake is a weak individual and lousy lover. Do you get turned off by a man with a weak handshake?

My grandmothter says sometimes when a guy shake your hand softly then its some feiminie in them because they suppose to have a nice firm shake,but i dont know.

that's what i've heard too, and he just totally turned me off with that limp handshake.

LOL! He had the limp fish (and his hands were clamy and sweaty). I was like "Yuck!" And you know what? I've had some men that were like that with the bone crushing handshakes and I was just wondering "what is he trying to prove?"

I totally agree with 'tentwo' above, unless it is extreme in either direction (weak or strong) I don't usually even notice. The ones who try to impress by breaking your fingers really turn me off, because I feel it is actually a bigger sign of weakness that the one's with the weak handshake! Deep inside they are weak individuals who try to overcompensate and act big and maucho! The weak guy is usually just that...weak...but at least doesn't try to hide it by being overly 'strong'!!
