Hello, everyone. With St. Patrick's Day coming up; I'm curious about how you celebrate it, if you do. My favorite way to celebrate it is to each corned beef and cabbage and watch Darby O'Gill And The Little People. Are there parades? If so, do you attend? Does anyone have a St. Patrick's Day party? And, how many of you are Irish...of course I am...every Saint Patrick's Day. LOL

I hadn't realised that St Patrick's Day was so close. As I am living in Ireland I wouldn't miss the big Parade in Dublin. Parades are held throughout the country but the biggest is in Dublin. After the parade we will go to a pub for a few drinks and help drown the shamrock. I won't cook on that day, as I like to socialise, so we will go to some nice restaurant for a meal and then back to wet the shamrock again.

That sounds like a lot of excitement. Is "drowning the shamrock" there the same as "wetting your whistle" is over here? LOL Blessings to you.
