Anyone with Guinea Pigs!?

What is your guinea pigs' favourite food? Not talking about a categor (eg vegies) but one food they absolutely love? Mine love carrot :)

My piggies have all passed away now, but I had one that absolutely loved strawberries. I mean, they are the best source of vitamin c you can give them. She would eat one and it was like she got high or something! She was very happy and mellow after that.

Hehe! You know, I've seen a lot of people with piggies that just loved strawberries. So once I was fostering 10 pigs, and decided to buy some strawberry plants. I got 2 flats of the plants. About 1 flat worth grew, and half of those made strawberries. But it was still a lot. And you wouldn't believe it, but all 10 piggies would have absolutely nothing to do with those strawberries!

All of mine have always loved cilantro. That's never been turned down. I'd have to say it must be the universal favorite, as nearly 100 guinea pigs have passed through my doors.

Mine loves carrots and veggies. Guinea pigs have a strong sense of smell and you'll just be amazed that he'll cry out loud when you have carrots in your hand. hahaha.. cute..
