What does mylot really say about promoting other moneymaking sites, including you putting your own referal link in the post? I for sure thought that this was against the guidelines, however i still see atleast 10 a day here so I am wondering - is it ok to do so?

Posting referal links in a topic thread is against the guidleines. If you see it. Report it to my lot. DOn't let them get away with it. You are aloud to post a link as a response to a discussion. But nothing else.

The guidelines are a bit vague on this, but the way I understand it is that you can not put a referral link in the title or the first line of a discussion, you can not promote other money-making affiliate sites (which people do here constantly), and your link has to be directly related to the discussion that you are responding in. That's how I understand it, but since we see tons of discussions containing these links here, maybe I am wrong. I think that myLot wants us to use e-mail or PM to communicate about other money making sites.

From what I understand on the guideline you will NOT against the guidelines IF the links were related to the discussions but not promoting any others affiliate programs. The guidelines originating from mylot :"Post any links promoting other affiliate programs or that do not pertain to the discussion. Posting the same link over and over or posting links that have no relevance to the discussion is not allowed". Thus I think you were right that we shouldn't put on our referral links for some other sites and the only links allowed were those link to which were relevant to the discussions.

I think I saw in a post made by mylot that you can have referral links in your post if it is in a responce and has helpes the discussion. I do know that some people have posted links when they start a discussion, even I have, but that was before I realized it was against the rules.

Ok, so it is against the guidelines? Wonder why there still are so many of them around!
