Marriage proposals...please share your own

I first of all i Congragulates your sister on her marriage and pray to God to make her life happiest in the world. As far as my proposal is concerned, simply i didnt propose to any one still and i am still happy to have time only for me. I think after marriage your time divides and it divides further when you become father or mother. So i am still happy that i have proper time for myself and dont have any tension..........

first off tell your sister CONGRATULATIONS!!!! and my proposal was perfect for me, he actually gave me my ring at christmas but didnt propose... i thought ok not an engagment ring because i dont like diamonds but i love opals and its an opal ring, but then we were at the jimmy buffet comcert and in the middle of my favorite song one particular harbor he got down on one knee in front of the entire crowd and proposed!!! i of course said yes we have set our wedding date for halloween!!!

Oh, a big congratulations to your sister. Are you going to be bridesmaid? I am afraid my proposal was just the usual mundane type of proposal. As a matter of fact I don't think my husband ever proposed. I am sure he just said something like "Let's get married", and I answered "When"? We didn't even set a date. He just bought the ring a couple of weeks later and I went with him to choose it.
