When you go shopping for clothes, do you...

Carrying very heavy bags can wreak havoc on your spine if you don't watch your posture. Knapsacks are the best things to carry (worn squarely on your back, not slung over a shoulder). If you end up with lots of bags, and still want to shop, store them safely in a locker or the trunk of a friend's car, and pick them up when you're done

I love to shop but it seems that I usually shop with an intended purpose in mind. I wouldn't mind just browsing and shopping that way. It seems that whenever I am not looking for something specific, and I don't have extra money- I find tons of things that I want to buy. Then when I actually have the money set aside to buy something specific...I can never find what I am looking for or something that I like. I need to shop alone (if clothes shopping) if I am trying to purchase something specific becuase I am very indecisive. Other people would probably become very annoyed with me. However, the drawback is that I don't have anyone to offer me feedback. If I am just browsing with some extra cash, then I enjoy to shop with other people.

Now that I have a baby it is up to her. If she is in a good mood then I can spend hours shopping but if she is not in the mood to shop and is crankey then I have to get it done as quickly as possible.

I personally hate shopping. I go in, look for what i need, decide which one i like best and then i get the heck out of there as fast as i can. I think the thing that takes the longest for me is the fact that i always look at prices, i go for the cheapest thing i can find, because i just hate spending money, it doesn't matter if i have a grand to spend, I'll buy the cheapest of everything i get. I guess that's just me, i just don't like shopping, and when there's lots of people in the store.... Oh god, that's a totally different story.

When I go shopping I do love to look at the different styles of clothing, or new designs that have come out, etc. But at the same time I don't want to be there for hours on end looking for an outfit. More than anything usually when I go shopping there is something in particular that I am looking for on that specific day. I tend to know before hand what I am looking for. If let's say I am looking for a new pair of dress pants.. I will go & look for that one thing. Sometimes other things will indeed catch my attention & I will look at them & keep them in mind for next time. Or I will put them on hold if I end up liking them.. So when I go home I can go & get extra money & then come back to the store to pick it up.. I tend to end up finding a shirt I like more than finding a pair of new pants half of the time.. So if this happens I get the sales person to put it on hold.. I think about it over night & really think to myself whether or not I need it or not. Sometimes I go back, other times I realize I don't really need it so there would be no point in going back to purchase the thing that had caught my eye. Instead of purchasing the piece of clothing I was really looking for. But couldn't find. I think the only time I am able to go shopping & want to look at pieces of merchandise for a long period of time. Is when I am out shopping looking for a new piece of furniture for mine & my other half's room. Or we are in a store just browsing. I know that my other half love just going window shopping or browsing through certain stores. I know though when it comes to clothes shopping that I'd much rather look around for a while. At the max I will only stay a half n hour, but nothing longer than that. The only time I can find myself staying even longer is if I have a lot of money to spend on a new wardrobe. Or I found quite a few different outfits that I wanted to try on to see how they'd look. And decide on whether or not I would like to purchase them. Other then that I'd much rather browse for whatever I am looking for.. And then leave as soon as I can.. I love shopping with my other half though because he doesn't mind waiting for me when I try clothes on. If anything he will stay there with me & not complain while I am trying a few different outfits on. I remember when I used to remember shopping with my mom when I was younger.. How I always had to be as quick as possible.. Or she'd get crabby & tear a strip off of me.. I disliked this.. I love shopping with someone for the first time who doesn't mind waiting for me.. And doesn't throw a fit if I take a while. In conclusion.. When it comes to clothing shopping I usually know what I am looking for.. And when I get to the store I will look at a few of the other things within the store.. But for the most part my attention usually is focused on finding whatever it is I came to the store looking for.. When I go clothing shopping I rather buy what I need & then go home.. I don't like making a day out of looking for new clothes usually. As I tend to shop at the same stores for clothing each time.. When it comes to shopping for other merchandise though.. I love taking my time with my other half to look at the different merchandise that may be located within the store. I just find clothes shopping to take up a lot of time.. And I would much rather be in & out as fast as I can.. As I find clothes shopping to be already stressful.. So I try my best to find what I need, try it on & then go home shortly afterwards.. I love shopping with my other half though as he tends to always have the patience.. And is always willing to wait when we go shopping for anything in particular each time! . .
