Do you buy your husband/wife/partners clothes for them?

I ask my husband not to buy me clothes because I'm very hard to fit and I don't give a specific size -- I like to try things on to judge the fit. He, however, hates to shop for clothes and I do buy most of his clothing (either with him or for him, depending on the shopping trip). I like to look through the sales and such and, if I see something that I think will look nice on him, I'll pick it up. I like to be able to come home and give him something I've bought. I think it's just a nice way to say "I was thinking about you" :)

My partner always buys his own clothes. I buy my clothes myself most of the time. A few times i have sendt my partner to the store to buy something for me. i will tell him exactly what to get: the model, the color, the size. Usually we go to clothes stores together. I think it is nice to be able to get and give input and sugestions from and to my boyfriend.

I buy my own clothes. I don't know the size I take here in the UK because the sizing for women is so different from the US. My hubby wouldn't have a clue as to my size, and neither do I. I am considered of average size in the US but here, their sizes are one size bigger. So, it makes us US women feel like we are fat when we are not. I do buy some of my hubby's clothes. I know what looks good on him. I do ask his opinion of some things, others I just use my own judgement. I know him well enough to know what he likes.

i seldom do. i do for family but only till sugggestions are conderned, i dont go ahead and buy for anyone till the person is present. i prefer to take their advice before spending money, unless ia am very sure that they will like a thing if i buy it...i dont take chances when i am not sure...

I always buy my own clothes as well as my husband's. I know what kind of clothes he likes and I do a good job picking them out for him. Heck, he hasn't complained yet! LOL My husband doesn't like going clothes shopping for me, and it's just a well as I'd rather pick out my own clothes anyway.:)

I enjoy shoping for my family and i feel good when they liked that. My husband happily wears what i bought for him. And he knows i feel good when he bought something for me. I prefer to wear what he brought and he knows this very well. But i am the one in family mostly shoping for all. But my husband sometimes only to make me happy buy things for me.

I pick up the basic things like underwear and socks. Usually he picks out his own clothes though, although I am usually with him, because we go shopping together.

I don't buy all his clothes, I do buy some now and then. He really doesn't buy much either though. He sticks to t shirts basically. I'll pick up shirts if they're on sale, underwear, socks. Nothing fancy...

Well actually the last time we went shopping my hubby actually bought himself a shirt it was the first he has bought for himself in the past 27yrs that i have known him i usually buy everything for him.He hates shopping

i have given liberty from my betterhalf to buy for her if she does not intend to buy herself for any reason. see day after yesterday she told me that her shoe has broken and then i go market for her sleeper and bought it which she liked most.

Hey man shopping wth partner is really fun, but one mus have time for this, actually when one is newly married , one try to comfort other but later on we take each other as granted ignoring ones choices and likes.Man usually gets busy in their business and professions so they don't get enough time to shop.but i am not yet married and still single, and i go to shop with my girlfriend..its really fun to know her choice that will help me only to make her moddd whenever she is angry on me..! he he...

nope!!!,the same thing applicable to me,i neva buy clothes for my girl or anybody,but when it comes to birthday,valentine, christmas,new year, i do buy. ask me why?JUST FOR SURPRISE PACKAGE.

We always buy our clothes together with my partner.We help each other in choosing the right clothes to buy. It really saves time & effort.Most of all we do enjoy buying our clothes together.

sometimes i bought my boyfriend clothes for a gift.. i wanted him new one..

Yes, i do buy stuff for my husband, like shirts, polo shirts.. i think i know him better already since i know what type of colors and likes that he likes to wear.. :). so im comfortable that what i buy will be appreciated.. ehhhe

of course yes, I bought for my wife and partners. They're my friend.

yes i buy my boyfriend clothes.but only when there are special occasions,and whenever i have extra money to buy one.and he usually likes the things that i buy him.he wears it more than the clothes that he bought himself.he says i have very good taste,and knows what best fits him.but when it comes to jeans,he usually shops for them himself,or i go with him to see if it fits him perfectly.i really enjoy our shopping days. =) it's an alternate thing that we do when we get tired of kissing and hugging each other. lol

I do buy clothes for my husband, motherinlaw and a son, you know what?, my husband's choice is always better than mine. He chooses me clothes and it will be always best. But usually, both me and my husband go for shopping, we will always buy together. His choice is better.

i sometimes buy clothes for my gf. i enjoy watching her dress up with what i bought. she doesnt buy me clothes though coz im kinda picky and she keeps on telling me that she wouldnt buy clothes for me in fear of rejection. though im not really ill mannered.. i still appreciate things that are given to me... im just shy to show it.

I've bought my wife lingerie in the past, and have also bought dresses/sweaters/etc. for her as gifts, but for her everyday clothing needs, she does her own shopping.
