what food is hard to give up?

of all the food you love to eat. I know i love to eat, what certain dish or food would you not want to be not included on your diet list. for me, i don't wanna hear my doctor saying that i should stop eating chocolate and chicken! i so love them and i would literally freak out if i would be asked not to eat them anymore.

I think it would be most difficult to give up 1) cheeses 2) chicken 3) rice 4)pasta 5) potato 6) tomato

Pineapple lumps, chips, fanta, chocolate and alot of stuff are hard to give up. But if they're out of sight, they're out of mind - well for me anyway. But I can't be on a diet list anyway, I classified as anorexic weight which is really bad, but there is only so much food my stomach can take when its bloated

oh youre' anorexic maybe you just have to eat pleanty of greens and fruits to help you out.

I'd have to say I would never want to hear my doctor telling me that I need to cut either pasta or chocolate, as well as sauerkraut perogies from my diet. Those three things have to be some of my very favorite things to eat in general. I know that all of them are rather rich. But I find them some of those things that I don't eat on a regular basis at all times. So I couldn't quite understand why my doctor would make me eliminate those from my diet. I think you'd have to be eating the same thing each day.. Or even these rich foods every day for him to say something along the lines of me having to eliminate these foods from my diet. But I am not a doctor so I don't know that may not be the case.. I know that whenever I need a comfort food I tend to turn to chocolate. I find it seems to lift my spirits when I am having cramps or even when I just need something to soothe my sweet tooth at the time. I actually prefer chocolate as a snack while watching a movie, compared to either popcorn & sometimes even chips. I tend to like snacks that are a lot sweeter in taste. I also couldn't give up sauerkraut perogies since I am Ukrainian & since I grew up eating this dish.. I believe it would be so every difficult to just give up just like that.. I find it's one of those dishes that I tend to prepare very well. And that I also love making my own home-made sauerkraut perogies. I also tend to get cravings for these quite often so having to cut these out of my diet would eliminate a food that I had grown up with.. I don't think I would eliminate this dish from my diet as I don't eat it every day.. But it's one of the dishes I had grown up with as a kid eating.. I also couldn't eliminate pasta since I tend to love preparing it for a side dish for the dinner I prepare for me & my other half quite often. I find pasta to be so versatile because there are a variety of different sauces one could make to put on top of the prepared pasta. I think you can also add some healthy sauces to add to your pasta as well so if I was asked to eliminate this I think I would look at the doctor rather strangely. As you can always eliminate the fat from pasta if you rinse it off, or even eat it plain or even with a healthier sauce as well. In conclusion.. I love eating all three of these things.. I find them to be rather rich in taste, but they are ever so delicious in my mind. I couldn't imagine just cutting them out of my diet & never being able to eat them ever again.. I think that would be so very difficult for me to do.. I think I could go ahead & try to do this but it would be so very difficult to not end up cheating & finding a way to have at least a little bit of each dish! It's difficult to give up some of your favorite foods.. I think I would cut back on eating them a little bit if my healthy was in jeopardy. But I could never cut them out entirely from my diet quite honestly I do believe! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

We all know that too much salt and cholesterol is bad for our health. I know this very well but I just can't resist those foods that are salty and rich in cholesterol. I love fried chicken, french fries and potato chips, lechon (roasted pig for those who can't understand Filipino), pork chop, and a lot more delicious and unhealthy stuff.

i love eating thats the best pastime a person could ever do but for me i can give up pasta and peanut butter i love pasta even with just olive oil, salt, pepper and cheese... i love JIF peanut butter... definitely i wont give that up

I wouldn't mind giving up many foods except cheese. I like lots of different kinds of cheese. I like to add it to all sorts of different types of food. I like it cold, warm, and melted. It would be a real drag to have to give it up because it'd change the flavour of countless other dishes that I add it to, as well.

absolutely CHOCOLATE & ICE CREAM . . . ! for desserts . . talking for the meal dishes that i can't resist are pork lechon , adobo & sinigang !

I would not give up pasta, pizza, rice, chocolate and ice cream. I know some of these would be on the "you should not eat list" but.....It shouldn't be a problem as long as I didn't eat too much of a good thing all at once.

I would hate to have to give up pork and red meat. I love them and thgey can be cooked in sooo many different ways. For me I live on red meat and want to continue eating them forever.

Hi!! i just love eating.. m a food buff... even my doctor suggested me to give up chocolates as i had to get one of ma tooth removed coz of eating too many chocolates..but i din pay any heed to his advice.. i continue eating them as i thoroughly enjoy them... another one is pepsi.. i drink almost two liters daily.. all ma friends and family members requestes not to take it.. coz of the strong acids in it..i found it really tough to give up this.. but i finally gave up drinking pepsi..
