remember the song. It is NOT Natural Woman the song made a hit by Aretha Franklin and Carol King and remade by so many others. There is a song, it is a country song, sung by a male country singer, I think it was the 70's may have been the early 80's but I am pretty sure that it was the 70's. The song is mellow slow, and it is woman, [small pause] natural woman ... Those are the only three words I can remember I woke up with this song in my head, and can't get rid of it, but the problem is that it is only those three words, the beat, and rhythm of the song, I can hear the fade and I can almost grasp the next to words but they sound so far away I can't really hear them, and it KEEPS going through my head it is going to drive me nuts. My own musical talent consists of the ability to turn on a radio, cd player, record player, or cassette player, beyond that I can barely get the tune of mary had a little lamb out correctly I can hear it correctly just doesn't translate to my mouth. So if anyone is familiar with old country it may be Ray Price, I already know it is not the Other Woman by Ray Price The problem is if you put Woman natural woman in search engine for lyrics it keeps spitting out the you make me feel like a natural woman lyrics. It is most definitely NOT that song. Help, anyone know older country songs, something smooth not twangy, slighty sensual or romantic, I don't think it is a song from Ray Price's night life album. I am fairly certain that woman, natural woman has nothing to do with the title of the song, the more I look up Ray Price's sons I am beginning to think it may not be him, but it is someone with that type of voice, I know I heard this song as a kid, since Mom's favorite was Ray Price this could be why I thought it was him, it is that style of song though. So maybe it was Charlie Rich, or Eddy Arnold or someone else. Any way if anyone is familiar with country music from that era, and is familiar with the type of songs sung by Ray Price they will have an idea of a melody and tempo type of song this is, and so may remember the song hopefully? It has been driving me nuts for hours, even playing other songs, that song keeps going through my head but it is only those three same words ... Help is appreciated.

well i dont really know which song this is refering to however, i have a friend who often wakes up with songs stuck in her head or sometimes just a few lines from the song.. anyways point of this is that to her the song or parts of the song that she remembers when she wakes up are always significant and are pointing towards something going on in her life or something that is about to happen, so perhaps you may want to look at that perspective as well. best of luck finding that song!

Yes I agree with your friend, I have found this to be true, which is why I am trying to find that dang song, I know it can help me figure things out, if I could just find the song either listening to it whole will trigger what I need to know, or remind me of the messaage I got in the dream, or reading the lyrics will. I intend to try both if I can find the song.

Are you talking about "A natural Woman" by Lynda Carter and Ray Charles?

I can't find any reference to that song to see if it is the song I am looking for but thank you for the suggestion, are you sure you have the title right? Or his singing partner, because the song I am referring to was sung by a man only. as I originally stated, and the title "a natural woman" is not one i can put in as a search because then the original of that which I mentioned above also is all that comes up. So if you could perhaps give me some of the lyrics to the song you are referring to maybe I can do a search with those to check it. Thanks
