What do you do if someone is buzzing the apartment building....

Last night I could hear someone was being buzzed about a room or two down. It was light buzzing, then turning into a rhyme, then finally they HELD down the buzzer for a very long time. I couldn't even hit the talk or listen button cause then it would get projected into my apartment!!! This happened for a good 5 - 10 minutes before they finally quit. Now this afternoon it sounds like the same thing is starting up in the same apartment. What does someone do in this situation? It's not the loudest sound in the world, but I'm sure others can hear it a lot better. I think it's rude to hold down buzzers for a very long time like that. I do'nt know why they are doing it, if the person is either gone or ignoring it or dead. I don't really know the situation so I can't completely judge. I suppose I could block it out, but what would you do? Has this happened to you before? One time someone was ringing my buzzer at 5am. They sounded drunk, and angry. They somehow got on my floor after someone let them in and they were pounding down someone's door down. How scary! Yeah, they got in a bit of trouble. :P

If it is late at night or the person is causing a disturbance, you can always call your local police station to report the noise complaint or trespass complaint. Just be sure you call the non-emergency number to speak to someone behind the desk and not 911 (unless your life is in danger).
