Do you have any suggestions of a good website for children ages 5-6. In a week's time my youngest son will be having their summer vacation. and I'm looking for a good website for them to use. Can you suggest?

there are tons of sites for children but out of the best catch i got is http://www.teach-nology.com . the site has lots of worksheets for various grades on many subjects. i use the printables as passtime work during holidays for my daughter. hope you like that too. theres one more thats added to my favourites in home pc. so will check that and give you its great one too. till then check out the above one.

Hmm.... Maybe wikipedia for education. Nick is good, disney is good too. Or you can googling the web for kids.

I don't think there SHOULD BE any websites that are good for the age group you are talking about. Those little cherubs should be devoting their time to playing outside and developing there imagination! But since you asked...try Nickolodean and be sure to have a password on the computer that only lets the child in the one site.

Thanks! ill try it. Usually I leave him at home to play. But since he will be going to me with the office sometimes, i'll have him use the internet to help him be familiar with the computer too.

my son is 5 and he LOVES noggin.com, nick.com, and nickjr.com. They have some really cute little games and they are educational, too. Also, nasa.gov has a kids section. If he can read, you might try toondisney.com (i think that's it)...they have some games on there where the character can interact with other kids online and they find things and go on different trips and all. Very cute.
