Do you buy cookbooks or just search the internet?

It depends on what im after. Most of my cookbooks are hand written recipes that have bene handed down through the family. Then i have a few that ive picked up, chinease cooking, italian cooking ect. So depending on what im in the mood for ill pick up one of those.
Now if im in the market for a specific recipie then ill get online and search till i find one i like. Example the other day i wanted brownies, nothing looked good in the cookbooks, so i got online and asked around till i found one i liked and made that.
So i do both :)

I couldnt agree more... sitting down with a cookbook in hand is hard to beat. I have bought alot of cookbooks and still will if i find one that "speaks to me" ;)
I use the internet alot too but thats usually if i kinda know what im looking for and wanna get a general idea of what guidelines to use...

I love a real cookbook in my hands. The new ones are especially nice with their wonderful pictures and their new pages. I used to collect cookbooks but they started to take over so I had to get rid of them except for the ones that I knew that I would use recipes from OR the super unique and cool ones like the Sherlock Holmes Cookbook or the Nancy Drew Cookbook or the Raggedy Ann and Andy Cookbook. I love character cookbooks for fun, not necessarily for cooking things from them. I have discovered a few websites on the internet that have some great recipes so I will look at those when I am looking for something specific.
