DHL delivers body parts to Michigan home.....

This poor couple were expecting some parts to their wooden table but also got 2 extra packages delivered in bubble wrap. When they unwrapped those, one was a liver, the other was a part of a head with an ear. Authorities believe 28 other packages of bady parts that were sent from China destined to a lab in Michigan may have been wrongly delivered elsewhere across the country. A few of the packages broke open enroute, scattering the body parts in the truck. This is not a shocker to me! I started to use DHL a while back for shipping because of their prices. However, I soon found that their delivery times could vary from what was promised, and 7 out of 10 packages I sent arrived broken. One was insured for over $400 but DHL wouldn't pay. I finally had to go to the Better Business Bureau in order to get my money from them! It's obvious that DHL just isn't worth using, especially when shipping body parts!

I am dealing with DHL from past one and a half decades. They never defaulted in their delivery schedule( Both Inbound and Out bound shipments). Only Once they have cleared my consignment by paying Customs duty without informing me ( I had a licece for duty free clearance). When I expressed my dissatisfaction, they promptly waived the customs duty and never billed us.

My guess is you have a business and do a lot of shipping. I think DHL treats these customers differently than the ones who occasionally send individual packages. Actually, I had three of the packages insured and they refused to reimburse for all three! The others weren't for that much, but I definately wasn't going to let them scam me out of $400!!!

Thanks for your offer, but this was last summer. I did finally get the one payment of $400 but had to file a dispute via BBB in order to get it. It was such a hassle that I just wrote off the other 2 which were only about $20. But, they lost me as a customer! For large boxes, heavy boxes, their prices are great, but I've found that they can't handle breakables as well as other services. Then not honoring their insurance policy.....well, you can see why I would stop using them. Thanks again and hope you have continued good luck with them!
