If you have visited Germany before, please tell me all about what you loved about it. The people, the sights, the experiences, the food, the shopping. Anything. Thanks.

My daughter lived iGermany for 3 years so i visited her there 4 or 5 times. I love Germany and felt more at home in Germany than England or Ireland or any other country i have visited. Christmas is a beautiful time to visit ,the christmas markets are great and the scenery is like a christmas card or chocolate box. My daughter lived in Hamlen (Pied Piper)every month they re-enact the story in the town square .I loved Berlin i was there about 18mths after the wall came down ,berlin is a very interesting city especially if you are interested in WW11.Frankfurt is great but i really loved the countryside and the smaller villages.I read what everyone had to say about Germany and agree with everything that was said and would go back to Germany in a heartbeat.A truely beautiful country .

I adore Germany. I love the history, the food, the language, the culture. Everything about the place makes it the perfect holiday destination for me. Its nice and central in Europe so a perfect starting place to drive to other countries too.

Yes, I have visited Germany many times. The people, well Germany is very multicultural now so you will meet people of different origins. The sights, there are a lot of beautiful places to visit, if you are planning a trip to Germany then you should probably visit their website or check with your travel agent. The experiences, well there are so many of them but they are individual and you will collect your own memories of your holiday based on your tastes, like I love jazz and I loved going to places where I could enjoy brilliant live jazz music. The food, well as I said Germany is multicultural and so is the food, You can get any kind of food here. The shopping is very good, especially the clothes, the only problem I had was that as German sizes are large, I had to do a lot of my shopping iin the teenagers section, good selection though. I hope you have a great time in Germany.
