if a hammer and a feather was leaved from the same height.why dont they fall at same time.b'coz value of g is always 9.8 m/s2.plzz reply me I wanna see it.

they fall at the same time in the absence of air resistance . But in the presence of air resistance , the hammer falls faster because it has a greater mass and the feather is slowed down by the air resistance due to its less mass.

no you are wrong.hammer and a onoin has different masses.if you leave a hammer and a onion from the same level they will reach the ground at the same time in the air.tell me why feather falls slow than the hammer????

lets say it depends on the surface area and both the mass of the object

AND lets say the difference in the time taken to fall is hard to recognise because it may have 0.01 second differences .. so we use specialized instruments for the task.
