Hello. I have never donated blood before. To be honest I just found out about my blood type this summer. I have AB+, my mother works in the hospital and she says it's rare type of blood but the rarest is AB- (She works in hospital laboratory and often orders blood for doctors in Blood Station).

No, I don't donate blood. I am not a qualified donor because I am anemic. I wanted to because I know how important it is to others especially if they needed the transfusion. But unlickily, I am not capable of.

I did it for more then one time if my life, and i will still continuing to donate my blood as long as I'm healthy and have enough blood to donate. previously the hospital will made a mistake that saying my blood type is B+ve and the blood which I donated is in B+ve category and in fact my blood type should be A+ve. They only mention it on my second time of my blood donation, I have been check by few doctor to reconfirm my type of blood, and why this mistake will happen. I guess the coming blood donation wont made any mistake on me, or else it will also affected others people which going to used my blood. As I know my type of blood is A+ve(if they didn't made any mistake again).

I would if I could, but I can't. I had an unknown disease once and was told never to donate blood plus I am diabetic and the doc says I shouldn't for that reason as well. It is a great gesture to do so, though! Thank YOU!!!
