Need recipe for Southern Banana Pudding

I had this recipe a few years ago, but now it's lost. This recipe consists of Vanilla Wafers, bananas and the creamy topping. Does anyone have this recipe? Thanks!

yes i know how to make one.. here are the recipe: 1 large package banana cream flavored pudding and pie filling 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten 3 3/4 cups milk 30 vanilla wafers 2 large ripe but firm bananas, sliced 3 egg whites dash salt 1/3 cup sugar First combine pudding mix, egg yolks, and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil. Then remove from heat. Then arrange a layer of vanilla wafers in bottom of a baking dish. After that add layers of bananas and layers of pudding. Then, eat egg whites with the salt until foamy. Gradually beat in the sugar then continue to beat until mixture forums stiff shiny peaks. Spoon meringue over pudding. You can now bake it at 375 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes, until meringue is cooked. You can prepare it warm or chilled.

Thank you for this recipe. I remember adding cream of tarter to make the meringue. Your recipe really helps!

try this delicious recipe my friend: INGREDIENTS: 1 large package banana cream flavored pudding and pie filling (6 serving size) 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten 3 3/4 cups milk 30 vanilla wafers 2 large ripe but firm bananas, sliced 3 egg whites dash salt 1/3 cup sugar PREPARATION: In a saucepan, combine pudding mix, egg yolks, and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Arrange a layer of vanilla wafers in bottom of a 2-quart baking dish. Add a layer of banana slices and then a layer of pudding. Continue layering the vanilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding, ending with the pudding. Beat egg whites with the salt until foamy. Gradually beat in the sugar then continue to beat until mixture forums stiff shiny peaks. Spoon meringue over pudding, spreading all the way to the edge of dish to seal. Bake at 375° for about 10 to 15 minutes, until meringue is cooked and lightly browned. Serve warm or chilled. Store in refrigerator. Serve 10 to 12.

here is a recipe for you i will give you more recipes if i find them Southern Style Banana Pudding This is the GREATEST banana pudding ever. 3/4 cup sugar, divided 1/3 cup flour 1 dash salt 3 eggs, separated 2 cups milk 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 40-45 vanilla wafers (divide amount in half) 3 1/2 cups bananas, sliced (about 5) PREHEAT oven to 350°F Mix 1/2 cup of sugar, all the flour and salt in double boiler. Blend in egg yolks and milk. Cook, uncovered, 10 to 12 minutes or until thickened; stir constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Set aside about 15 wafers for garnish. Spread small amount of mixture onto bottom of 1-1/2-quart baking dish; cover with layers of 1/3 each of the remaining wafers and sliced bananas. Pour about 1/3 of the remaining custard over bananas. Continue to layer wafers, bananas and custard to make a total of 3 layers of each, ending with custard. BEAT egg whites on high speed until soft peaks form. Slowly add remaining 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Spoon over custard; spread evenly to cover entire surface of custard and sealing well to edge. Bake in oven 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Top with set aside wafers and banana slices just before serving. hope you liked it
