I have highspeed dialup and I love it.When I had DSL,my phone line was messed a few times, and after It was fixed I couldn't get online for a day or two and I didn't get credit from the phone company. The pages don't upload as slow as regular dialup.Just like being on DSL!

I live in Italy and I have a DSL Internet connection. The most part of my friend has a DSL connection but there are still many people that use a Dial up connection also because they don't have any alternative until now.

Yes I have dial up from net zero, the 3G service isn't quite as bad as standard dial up. It's pretty good for surfing but for downloading UGGGGHHHHH !

I know some people who still have it, my one brother actually still does. I went over to his house to help him with some programs and we had to download something, OMG I couldn't believe how long it took for a little file to download. I'm so glad I have cable. It's so much better and that little visit was enough to remind of that. I would do my best to make sure I don't have to go back to dial up ever again.

There are alot of people that still have no other option than to use dial up for in the country lying area's we still do not access to cable, dsl or satellite alot of wooded areas are inexcessible for these services but they are working on them daily to get them all over...I am in the country, but have access to dsl services, and satelite but satellite isn't real reliable so I am sticking with dsl till cable comes out my way
