Ever run across someone that has the exact same name as you?? When I was in high school I had 2 girls (same grade) who had the exact same name as me, their middle names were different, but one of them had the exact same initial as my middle name, our teacher used to call us (since we had the same homeroom teacher) by our first name and middle name to distinquish us apart. Another fun part, was when I would get a note in the mail that I was talking too much in class I always someone to blame, and fortunately, my mother believed me. How about you, ever had this happen to you??

Yes! there are coincidences like this, not only two but more. Here in our country,it is often to have that kind of problem, and even sometimes if the person need to go out of the country, and if they have a same name with the others who have police record they need to be hold to the NBI until the names are cleared. I am lucky with my name because very few are named like this...lol,before I hate my name but when I learned it's meaning and it's origin I began liking it and used often, not like before I always introduced myself by my nickname only...lol.

I had the same thing when I was growing up, there was a family that lived directly behind us whose mother had the same name as my mother and the daughter had the same name as me. The daughter married and had a daughter who she happened to name Christian and I named my daughter Christina, then she had a son who she named the same as my son, this whole time we were never in contact with her, I found out all this information some 5 years after it happened, just so weird how this family was so connected to us. Thank you for responding

Nope. I guess my name was not common at all. I know it can be a pain at times when someone gets you mixed up with others. My hubby name is Chris so it is very popular and he hates it.

No, both my first and last names are not that common. I did wind up in classes, both in middle school and college with a gal with the same first name & then I worked once with a gal who had the same first & middle name (but it is actually not that uncommon with my first name) who's name was also a "Mc" like mine, but a different "Mc" So, no, but I never got notes about talking in class either!

Yes I've met someone of the same name. Although my name is very very rare but I got know there is at least a same named girl. It happened when I was in middle school. My classmate someday found a letter through out of the mailbox due to poor address label. And it had my name on it. That's how I received the letter. Because I really wonder who sent it I opened it immediately. Unfortunately, I suddenly realized it wasn't for me when reading the first line of the letter. I therefore put it back to the envelope and added my explanation note. I searched which class the girl could be and waited by her classroom. Finally I wasn't able to meet her and had to pass the letter to her classmate. I am always wonder how that girl looks like.

After changing my name to my married name, yes, I did find someone with the exact same name as me. And worse yet, the same birth date but different year. It was when I was applying for a job and they found a match. I had to go down to the court house to get cleared by showing my ID and comparing me to the photo on record of that person's arrest! Ouch! Glad we looked nothing alike! Or I was going to be very upset!!!

Yes a few times I have met strangers with my exact name. Games were played a few times by them on me, which was no fun. But one time I went for a job interview and the guy hired me because he had two daughters each one had one of my names! I asked if my education or experience had anything to do with me getting the job and he was honest and said no every applicant had the same qulifications. I got the job because first he liked the way I looked and second because both his daughters had one of my names. LOL.

Not too many Heathers when I was growing up, back in the dark ages. When I was widowed, I searched a data base for addresses and phone numbers and found someone that had my first and my married last, in Texas, but never my first and maiden name, none of my first and current married either.

I handed a prescription in at the pharmacy, the chemist called out my name and 2 of us went to collect it. He was amazed. We both handed prescriptions in at a chemist neither of us usually go to. The chemist was very thorough in checking our ailments so as not to get medication mixed up. My name sake was much younger than me, but we were both quite surprised.

Not exactly the same name but similar when someone pronounced it. Everyone was like gossipping behind my back thinking I did something wrong while it was the other girl who did that LOL but who cares? when I'm wrong they don't like me, when I'm right they don't like me - so might as well

A few times. I have worked in different retail stores in the past few years. At least twice while at work I had a guests who had my name. Sometimes they realized it, sometimes they didnt! Holly isnt a name many have *L* This is funny though. I went to get a cd I had on hold at the library. They had put it with another book of ANOTHER Holly not *ME*. So I am like thats my cd but not my book. Heres the crazy part. The girl behind me in line it was HER book. Her name was the OTHER HOLLY! She didnt get the cd. Talk about odd things happening *L* very funny indeed!

during our clan reunion i was really shocked to meet a distant relative with the same first and last name, and more shocking is we have the same nick name, and the most shocking of all is our nickname is so unique that i estimated it that only 2 people in this planet has that nick name! until now i still refuse to believe that it's really true.
