I can't think of anything that I could give up. I'm thinking "necessity" rather than luxury... I'll have to think about this a little more!

I just could not live with out my computer, it is such a large part of my world, I honestly think my life would be a disaster without, it has actually changed my life.

I would give up everything else for electricity. I can't imagine not having electricity to keep food cold, my computer running, heat, air conditioning, lights, stove! Yup, got to have the electricity!

It makes me very sad that you cannot live without your cable TV. I had cable TV for three years at the end of the 90's and cancelled it in 2000. Maybe cable is better in America. In Australia it is a rip off. You don't get value for money.
I have to tell you that I have been without television for the past 15 months... because I don't have any TV reception where I am. And I don't even miss it.
So... the thing I would miss the most...
Probably my computer... followed by my DVD player.

I think I would give up my car, before electricity and my computer!

After Hurricane Katrina we went without electricity for 2 weeks and without a phone for 5 weeks. I think I could live without the phone as long as I could still get online, like through a sattelite or something. That would be a tough decision.
