How many hours a week do you work?

How many hours a week do you and/or your spouse work? How many days? I am a stay at home mom so my job never ends. My hubby works about 70 hours a week over 6 days. He puts in anywhere from 12 plus hours a day. He's exhausted at the end of the day so we do not get to spend alot of family time with him. We eat dinner without him most nights but we do what we have to do. How about you and your family?

I work 30-40 hours a week depending on how many games there is. This job is only for 13 day till the end of the month. But I try to work on mylot as much as I can. I am sorry to hear that swietekfam that you hardly see your husband. Maybe if you could get a job and help him maybe he would have more time to spend with you and your kids. Maybe take him dinner at work. Make him feel wanted. Tell him to cut back on his hours. Maybe make a day for him and you.

Oh I wiwh it were that easy. I have 3 kids. One is in 3rd grade, one is in kindergarden, and one is still home with me. Daycare costs are outrageous for what jobs there are around where I live. My hubby is a truck driver so his schedule varies day to day. He just can't punch out at 5 pm. Would be nice, maybe one day. Thanks for your reply.

I work 30 hours a week (really more because I do the housework, including that I work non-stop). My husband works 35 hours. We eat lunch together every day and he is home no later than 5:30 every evening.

It is so great you get to spend time with your husband. Not only for lunch everyday but in the evening as well. Good jobs it sounds like! Thanks very much for your input.

My hubby works 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. It gets hectic because we really don't have a lot of time to ourselves. I work around 24 hours a week in an insurance office, and I just quit my other 30 hour a week job a month ago to spend more time with the kids. I'm enjoying being home more, but it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. Being a parent is definately a 24 hour a day job.

I hate long hours! It is hard. I am planning on going back to school soon since my youngest goes to kindregarten next year. Maybe I can work then and get paid for it, lol. Although, payment for being able to take care of the kids is quite nice. I have gotten to see so many things that are precious. Thank you for input.
