Hi Barish, I think it's cool for teens to get a summer job. Something that can be life-altering. Like working on a horse ranch, or at a plant nursery. Something fun, that can offer real life experiences that can help to shape their futures. One of the best summers I ever had as a teen was spending a few weeks on an Amish Farm. Wow, talk about an experience!
