Do you read newspapers or surf news on the internet?

news - man reading a newspaper

Before I got my pc I used to buy newspapers once in a while, and most of the Sundays to keep myself updated with what's going on around me. But lately, I resorted to surfing the net for some news coz aside from saving me money from buying a national newspaper, I also have the chance to browse different sources of news. Like for the local news, I get a couple of our local newspapers' websites and get the same news which I could be getting if I pay a few pesos to grab that paper. What about you, do you still go for the conventional newspapers or like me you've already shifted to the online media? Why do you do so?

I surf the net. Buying newspapers supports teh deforestation of the world. I don't need paper printed for me if I can read pixels instead. It's one small thing I do to help save the environment...now if I could just get people to STOP sending me junkmail in my mailbox. Maybe we could save a few forests, and reduce erosion.

I used to grab newspapers before if I feel like getting the latest news, that was when I wasn't working yet. But since I got a job which requires me to face the computer almost nine hours a day, and without doing much work, I switched to online news sites. Not bad at all, coz I got a couple of sites for our local newspapers, so I still can get hold of what's happening in the town.

I subscribe almost all the national newspapers and read them regularly. Eventhough I can do internet surfing, I prefer reading newspapers in the morning as soon as as get up. It has become a daily habit with me since my childhood.

there is difference between these two.newspaper is a traditional way of searching for infos..whereas the internet has fast become the most popular icon to go for fast infos.however, some might still go for the newspaper and some prefer to use the internet. as for me..i use both.when im in a hurry and on a journey,i will definitely go for the paper as i dont hve laptop..and when im online..then the internet is the right move..

I normally read newspaper, because you can spend more time on it compared to other things. Also it doesnt give load to eyes, compared to sitting on a computer. The benefit of net is that you can browse almost ever news channel, but almost every display the same news. So it doesnt make a huge difference, but i would prefer newspaper anytime

LIke you I also buy newspaper before. But when I noticed I already have a lot of newspapers at the corner that doesn't serves its purpose anymore so i shifted to just reading news in the net. It's kinda hard to dispose a lot of newspaper. So I prefer reading news using internet so you won't be thinking of how to dispose it after reading.

online news definitely make life easier. i do browse for online news to look for specific news that i want but i always ended up sitting hours in front of the computer. it hurt my eyes. newspaper comes in handy when u got no time to even switch on the computer, or when u know that u're going somewhere boring and no internet connection. it's your saviour!

i am one person crazy for newspapers.... I read newspapers like anything.... simply anything.... infact the correct words would go like this .... until or unless I get a newspaper for the day I am really uncomfortable ...coz I am always waiting for the recent news and to know my world more and more.... all the way more -- not only it increases my knowledge, but it all considerably made me more outspoken, more conversable.... more able to talk of anything 0-- any where... with any one..... and a better tackler...
