Since my children are not in daycare. I try to find as many resources as I can to help them learn at home. I am always looking for fun ways to teach so they will not get bored. My daughter is 18mths and my son just turned 5 in March. Thanks

My toddler is 2 1/2 and she enjoys www.pbskids.org, www.nickjr.com and www.playhousedisney.com. She also likes www.wiggles.com and www.barney.com What I usually do is print some activities from these websites and my daugher enjoys it.

There are some sites: http://pbskids.org/lions/ This one is the site for "Between the Lions." This is a site about that show on PBS that teaches children to read and understand what they are reading. http://www.snoopy.com/ This is a site for children that like the "Peanuts" comics. It has comics, games, and coloring pages. http://www.nationalgeographic.com/kids/ This is the children's National Geographic page. It helps them learn about animals, the world, weather, insects, and nature in general. It has fun games, coloring pages, a parents area, and stories. My children always enter it and play fun games on it that are connected to the Disney charactors! Another is: http://yahooligans.yahoo.com/ My children also got into his site! It's a wonderful site for kids with games, movie, trailors, animal info, news for kids and much more! There's also: http://www.hhmi.org/coolscience/ A site that my children enter often. A site that touches science in a way that children get excited from it! For the young kids: http://pbskids.org/clifford/ A site all about Clifford the Big Red Dog! With games, activities, printables, stories and so much more! And another site for youngsters: http://www.cogcon.com/gamegoo/config.html The youngsters learn from the site peotry, the alphabet and much much more!

The only site that I have tried that you listed was pbskids.org and my son absolutely love it. During computer time tomorrow I am going to show him the ones that you mentioned. I think he will really like the coolscience link because he's always asking me scientific questions. He also loves history.
