How much time you spend for sleeping?

Maybe you always hear that some people need more time, 24 hours a day is no longer enough. So many things to do in limit time. Not only businessmen or professionals but also a housewife seems need more time. Like an engine, our body have to relax in couple of time to recharge energy. That's what we called SLEEP. Experts say for most adult, 7 to 8 hours a night appears to be the best amount of sleep. BUT, don't you think it's more useful in doing something rather than sleeping?

The research in this subject suugests the minimum or satisfactory sleep can extend to a certain time period from person to person as well as the type of work a person meets in the daily routine. Those who work only mentle stress can be happy with five & half hours sleep a day. The discipline has to be maintained by everybody that, you should not just rool in bed when you finish your sleep as such. Ecess sleep is nod good for health.

like what you said sleeping is beneficial for our body. so sleeping is important as doing your business. me i sleep seven to eight hours a day or if i have no time to sleep i make it a point that i will sleep complete the next day. the effects of lack of sleep is not easily found in some people but if one miss a sleep he may undergo lots of stress.

Because of a hectic schedule and a ton of school workload, I had just an average of 6-7 hours of sleep a day. I'm beginning to worry because it might affect my health. I know that sleeping for less than 8 hours is not healthy that's why I take vitamins to make up for the lack of sleep.

Sleep? What's that? lol We have a 10 month old and most nights he still wakes up every 1 1/2-2 hours. If I get 4 hours straight I feel so much better! If I slept the entire time I was in bed it would be right at 8 hours, but since I am up off and on all night, I might get 5 hours. I feel like I've been hit by a truck most mornings since my sleep is broken up and not continuous.

its really hard for me to sleep. I dunno why?! I'm obviously an isomniac but I still wnder how the hell do I manage to sleep at 3am? or later! I mean, what do I do?! just random stuff in the internet. andi hate it when wake up in the morning having not much sleep and you feel really tired and sleepy. and sometimes whenever I do some catching up, I end up sleeping a lot. but too much sleep does the same thing! is makes you sleepy and tired and everything!!

yes i agree you on that point that some one should do something rather than sleeping but sleep is a natural factor in humans life once we get exhaust we feel sleep , every days hard and continuous work also depending factor for sleep. i sleep 4 to 5 hrs daily but i sleep irregularly most of the times because of college works as i am a student and then i had time when i slept around 10 to 12 hrs also and sometimes skip a sleep once in week also ........ but when it comes to rest i sleep peacefully , i enjoy it with dreams.....cheers

Each night, I sleep for around 7 to 8 hours. Then, during the day, in the afternoon to be exact, I'll sleep for maybe 1 hour or 1 and 1/2 hours too. Sleeping in the afternoon makes me feel refreshed and I'll be alert at night. If I don't take naps in the afternoon, I'll be sleepy around 7 or 8 pm. Yeah, sometimes, I think that sleeping is a total waste of time and I could be doing something useful. Unfortunately, the body does not agree with the mind. When it's tired, then it needs sleep, no matter what the mind says. The mind says do something but the body says sleep! Haha! I guess we do need sleep to live from day to day. You are right. The body needs to recharge for a new day.

I need 7 to 8 hours sleep and if it's less, I don't feel very good when I wake up. Also, I get those ugly eyebags. Some people I know are okay with 5 to 6 hours. They say older people need less sleep but it doesn't seem to be that way with me. I agree, one or two hours might be more useful doing other things but it really depends on your lifestyle.
