Nature's Realm

Have you ever been walking by yourself through the words or on an abandoned path and felt a sense of the earth? Like nature has swallowed you up and it feels like you could stay there forever? Almost like you were taken back to the past where humans and nature were connected? I have. I always feel that way when I walk through the woods and there is a slight breeze that make the trees moan almost like they are reaching out to me. It's wonderful. And the sun hits just right so things like the leaves glitter in the sky. Have you ever experienced a day like this?

You know now why I have property. 43 acres of nature of which 13 acres is trees. I garden and there are butterflies, dragonflies, praying mantis, different bees, and bird of all sorts. The wind through the trees is like music. When gardening the earth has such a grand smell and the worms tell me I am doing very well. As plants grow they develope such a life that is not rivaled by anything in the city. I can see the stars and the moon when it is high and bright showing me a different landscape at night. I cannot imagine being in the city and living for any length of time ever again.

You are so lucky and I am so jealous! My dad learned how to build butterfly houses, and my mom wood burned a design onto them. They are pretty neat. But we haven't attracted any yet. I believe they will come with the flowers and bushes. I love how nature comes together as you mentioned. So peaceful.

Sometimes pain can make things more beautiful, bit I think it would be harder in your case. THanks for the tip, I'll tell my dad to plant those. I would love to see butterflies fluttering around. They're so delicate!

Days like that are to be treasured. And sometimes you can find them in your home. Recently we had a typical nasty snowstorm. Winds and ice pellets, and rain and snow, and more wind! As it all thrashed against the house it somehow consumed everything. There was just me, the storm and, fortunately, a sturdy window between us. Of course I decided I needed a smoke and went out into the storm...it was really vicious but so wonderful and uplifting at the same time.

I can't say I've ever experienced the violent side of nature, but I think it would be kind of fun. The rush of it and all. I've always wanted to witness a tornado, just to see how powerful they are. A snowstorm can be exciting, too. I think I would be too afraid to go out in it though if there were ice pellets. haha.

I often get this on the beach with my dog if there is no-one else around, the sun makes lines down to earth through the clouds, the sea gleams, the chalets in the distance look almost over bright and I am reminded that no living this has more or less value than any other. These are Angel times and always beautiful even when it rains and there is a little bit of rainbow or the sand blows in the wind.

I do quite a bit of walking through the woods and have felt this feeling many times. I enjoy nature very much and going for walks and looking at all the wonderful trees, flowers and surrounding. It can be overwhelming at times. I just had this feeling the other day.

Oh Yeah, that is why I enjoy hiking in the woods so much. I love connecting with nature. I love the woods and stream, animals and birds. I find myself more at peace in nature than anywhere else. I also love to sky watch and I love the stars.I could lay on my back and watch the sky for hours
