Yes Meg what happens is they will put a couple pennies into your Account which will verify that the Bank account is yours, which means that your Paypal is verufied and you can transfer Money from your Paypal to your Bank account.

Paypal will make 2 small deposits in your bank account, all you have to do is to write how much cash they sended you in each then your account will be verified :D

Yes, they'll put like $0.43 in your account to make sure everything is working properly and that all information is correct. Once you've verified that deposit, you're good to go!

The reason they do this is to verify your account and test you have set it up correctly. So they do a test transaction both ways, that is to send you a nominal sum that way both accounts, theirs and yours are tested. The amount is insignificant, however they will send you a code, this will appear on the left of the amount credited column, in the same column where the detail codes of your other transactions, such as direct debits, standing orders, charge codes etc. This code is vital to your verifying your bank account, and when you login to your paypal account and go to verify it you must enter the code correctly, and doing so you acount will appear verified. This is vital if you want to withdraw money from your account, and whilst it takes 5-10 days for verification, withdrawing money also takes the same time, so remember that if you are counting on it, to pay a specific bill from your bank account, you will not know its arrived in your account until you actually see it in your online or physical bank statement, I constantly had this problem and I'm a featured power seller. Any questions message me. Take care Chris
