Your earnings slightly increase when you are marked with a best response. It is not explicitly stated anywhere on the site but I've noticed this with my own earnings. The day I have a best response marked, my earnings are more. But again there is no specific amount but I'm pretty sure it adds to your ratings as well as earnings.
