I seldom use a credit card because I will try to control myself not to spend too much, I prefer cash. If you buy something online, there is a risk of lossing your personal information and your credit card may be used by other people when they get your information. Even you go to the shops, your information may still be lost.

Oh yes I do-- But not for the identity theft reasons! well those too-- For the paying back reason. I have credit card debt now-- Not a lot of it-- but enough of it! I hate the thought of buying something with my card- hey it doesn't matter- Its not coming out of my bank account-- then getting the bill and saying wowsa! So yep I think twice alot now before whipping it out to pay!

yes we have to remember that even if its on sale, and you don't pay it off right away, then that sale is costing up upwards of 15% most of the time.

You are smart to use cash and not just because of identity threat.. Unless agreed upon, our credit cars are off limits! We are finally going to be able to pay them off this summer. Since hubby is at work, and not home to agree on using the card, cannot use it and helps remind me when I feel one of my OCD urges hit!!!

Well for larger items a credit card is the way to go. You have a record of your purchase and if some dispute should happen to arise and you need the credit card company to stand up for you, they will. Plus I use mine alot for all those little perks that add up. I've had no problems so far.

I got my first Credit card when I were 17 or 18 (can't remember). Ever since (I'm 23 now), I haven't used cash even once as far as I can remeber. I never think twice and I use my card daily, sometimes several times a day, never had even the slightest problem. I think it's pretty safe. And yes I mainly use my card online so there're no risk there either.

I do all the time. Sometimes I just don't have the cash. I have a limit on my Credit Card, if somebody steal my Credit Card info they can't get much out of it.
