If you have the best brownie recipe here on mylot, I would like to hear about it. My wife loves brownies, and I want to bake her something really decadent! Best recipe will get a "best response" tag!

How about Blissful Brownies: 4 squares of Baker's Baking Chocolate 1/3 cup oil 1/3 cup applesauce 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups sugar 8 egg whites 1 cup flour Oven 350 degrees, line a 13x9 inch pan with foil, leave ends up over pan to lift out your brownies Melt chocolate, add oil, applesauce,.and vanilla. Mix well, stir in sugar. Add egg white and stir till well blended. Add flour. Mix well Spread the batter in the prepared pan. Bake 25 minutes or til they begin to pull from sides of pan. Cool completely and then remove from pan with the foil edges. 24 servings of 1 brownie each. Or how about Bravo Brownies: lol 1/2 oil, 6 Tbsp cocoa, 1 egg, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt, t tsp vanilla, 3/4 cup orange juice and 1 cup chocolate chips. Mix everthing but chocolate chips. Beat smooth then add in the chips. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased 9x9 inch pan for 30 minutes. They are done when the toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cut after they are cool. Services 9 to 12. Good luck with these. Brownies sure can be addicting.

that first one sounds pretty good. Not sure about the "bravo" brownies though - OJ in brownies? well see. I'll try 'em out - though I don't think i'll be able to let them completely cool.
