Any vegan eaters here at MyLot? What do you eat on a typical day? What are some of your favorite foods?

I'm not a vegan but my food intake is more on fruits and vegetables. I can safely say that I am a semi-vegetarian. No meat. My breakfast usually consists of yoghurt, oatmeal or wheat bread. Lunch and dinner usually is a vegetable dish and rice. Other times I prepare green salad or pasta. Boring but this is my choice and eventually I probably will learn how to make a meal more exciting and rich in taste.

I find that even though my meals don't have to be boring, they often are just because it's easier. I wish I wasn't so busy and actually had time to cook again. It doesn't even work for me to cook one day a week and then save it, as I hate leftovers so much.

i am a vegan. I usually have porridge and fruit for breakfast, a salad sandwich for lunch and dinner is usually some fried vegetables with pasta or rice. I do have a wide range of recipes on my website if you are looking for ideas: http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk

Usually, I eat a lot of frozen dinners and easy to cook foods. But today, I woke up to have some chips for breakfast (usually I would eat 3 to 5 bowls of cereal with soymilk). Then I had some ginger tofu, fake orange chicken, and then fake chicken satay. Plus rice. After all that, I wasn't hungry for dinner. A lot of times, I'll be running around during lunch time so I'll just eat snacks (chips and salsa is a favorite). For dinner I'll either go out somewhere or I'll have a frozen dinner generally. Occasionally I have time to cook. I like a lot of Asian foods and Mexican food.
