does a good or a bad cat score determine the credibility of a person???

the topic talks about the common admission test(CAT) conducted by the indian institutes of management(IIM's) which is taken by many mba aspirants,we have to discuss whether one exam can or cannot actually help determine the credibility of a candidate if yes/no then how!!!

theres no way that a single test score can determine ANYTHING, let alone someones credo or ability. it is a distict possibility that an excellent student may get low marks and vice versa. just to base one's assessment on the CAT test scores is naive. while the test scores are usually a good indicator of one's capabilities, to take the results as the gold standard would be utterly wrong.

excellent point made but do also suggest an alternative method which b-schools should adopt
