my mother and i are both as stubborn as stubborn can be, we constantly "bump" heads when we are talking about certain subjects because we both like to be right. i was just wondering if anyone has any of these problems with their mothers.

My mother and I are both too proud and stubborn (in other words - childish lol) Neither of us ever wants to give in and the phrase "cutting off your nose to spite your face" really applies to us :) We never got on when we lived together and it was probably because we are alike, in fact, I've noticed I've been becoming more like her as I get older :/ although it's only her bad points that I seem to be picking up!

my mother and i can't live together either. i too notice how i pick up my mom's habits sometimes its annoying. i love it when she calls me a b**** cause i reply it takes one to know one! gets her everytime!

I have to admit, I did giggle at this topic as my mum and I are both incredibly stubborn, neither of us will give an inch in an argument, yet I always seem to cave in for a quiet life.

no kidding! my mom will still swear up and down she right even if you pull up the facts and everything, so i do eventually just say "okay mom whatever" but i still love her stubborn butt.

One trait that my mother and I both have in common is the inablility to say no. We both often do to much for others and don't think about ourselves. Although it is a good trait it is also bad because sometimes you can get into situations where you are taken advantage of.

I find myself saying things that my mother has said too me to my own kids and sombody used to wish on me that my kids would give me as much trouble as I did them.
