How many discussions have you started?

I try to start at least one a week. But, sometimes I'll post several at a time depending on my mood. How 'bout you? Do you post one at a time, or several at once? Do you put them out at regular intervals, or just when you feel like it?

Well, I didn't keep a precise record of this but on an avarage I normally induce 10% discussions started by me. As the rating reads a figure close to 1200, I might have started 120 discussions and might have responded 1080 discussions started by others. My unresolved folder contains only 27discussions to wich I am about to resolve, to mark the best responses awards. I normally don't start any discussion as a repeatation to the previous discussions started by others and execute this perfectness by checking it through the search method provided in mylot. But I have noted people started discussions exactly similar to me after few days to mine, And funny thing is they recieved more responses than me. This disappoints me sometimes but there is no point in discussing this issue, because it's once own luck factor I think works. Wish you all the best and a great enjoyment in mylot discussions. I shall always welcome you in my discussions started in future.

Thanks for answering. I always wonder at people who get a lot of responses for their discussions while I only get a few. I try not to post something that has been already posted, but I'm not perfect. It's possible that this very question has been posted, but I haven't seen it, recently, on this site.

Generally I start three discussions at a time . I love to give responses more than starting discussions but I have made one simple ratio between how many responses I give and how many discussions I start . I nearly start 1 discussion for every 7 responses I give . I find giving responses more interesting then starting new discussions .

I agree with you. I am more comfortable giving responses than starting discussions. Other people, I have noticed, like it the other way around.

I start discussions when I am able to. Sometimes I come up with quite a few questions and sometimes none at all and I just post to other people's questions. It's too easy to get addicted to myLot and believe me I have been and still fight sticking to priorities. I feel it all depends on the person and how much time they enjoy spending on myLot. There really isn't a set amount of posts or discussions you must make to participte. That's what makes myLot fun. If you want to earn more money, then post to your heart is content, is how I see it.

Thanks. I just like to be able to post a new discussion on a regular basis rather than just posting to others. I'm fine just posting to others, I just want to be able to add more.

I've started 4 in the two months or so I've been here. I find it easier to respond to others. I have a problem coming up with new things - I see such a wide variety of topics here, and I hate repeating things. I could probably start more, but I'm just not that good at it.

I like to respond to other people's discussions, too. I find that starting my own requires a little more work. I like to give everyone a comment to their response, if possible.

Ill post one whenever i think of it. Otherwise i dont post them at all. Generally i get insperation for a question at night hehe, But thats it. I can do several a day then go a while without even thinking of it. Some of my friends post 2-3 a day, i dont know where they come up with the ideas!

That's good. I generally post discussions that are related to a problem or curiosity I have. It helps to get answers that can help. Some people just have a knack of starting good discussions, I guess.

That's OK. If you don't want to start one, then you don't have to. I like to give comments on all my responses, so that can be a little bit of work. Thanks for answering.

I just post them as I think of them. I try to take my time, and think of things that I havent already seen on here. Sometimes its very hard though. I have even posted something and then a minute later seen a person post something of that same nature.

I know what you mean. I try to be original, but I don't know if it's really possible sometimes. Sometimes, I think I'm too original and don't get hardly any responses.

I try to start about 2 a day. I post them as I think of them. I try to take my time, because I want to post things that I havent already seen on here, but that can be hard to do. There are so many people on here that I think its almost impossible to avoid the same subjects.
