Insomnia

Can anyone handle insomnia? I have been an insomniac for 3 yrs now..since i started univ and its just been getting worse..

I too cant handle insomnia b'coz i cant sleep in night i try to make mytself feel strained sitting before ma computer till the morning and after that sleep till the next day evening thnxx

I'm sorry to hear that. I couldn't tell myself if I'm good in handling insomia but I can suggest that try turning off the light in your room and just lie down in a comfortable way until you find yourself very sleepy. And oh, don't forget to pray first before going to bed.

of course, someone can. i've been an insomniac since elementary or grade school. and now, i'm a mom of a 13 year old girl. it runs in our family. i haven't seen a doctor, but i can handle it. coz there's a time it will pass. and it will come back. u better see a doctor, so u know how to handle it.

Have you ever had a sleep study? there are several things that can keep you from sleeping.

i suggest you take a warm bath before going to bed. gulping down a glass of warm milk could also help you sleep.

haha sleeping pills! Gawd i was thinking bout takin sm yday..but obviosuly i let the thot stay jus that! :-p..i hv like 8.30 classes..nd i am usually up till 5..can usually sleep for less dan 4 hrs a day..i guess its cz a lotta htings r always weighing on my mind.. always try nd nt thinkbout things while going to bed..but ah well! my mind is always in an overdrive..hv started drinking warm milk b4 going to bed..nd yes running an hr before i sleep too..(thanks for dat sugg :) )..but yet to notice a stark diff..:(

I can't every day i can't sleep at the night. still have no idea how to back into normal again.

I feel you pain that has happened to me on and off for years now. What I do is make sure I do less stressful things and sleep in the complete dark helps you stay asleep longer. Also you might wanna try a few sleeping pills just to get you started back on some kinda rotine. I basically just solved mine but excersing at night before I go to bed and i was so tired i'd fall asleep and if i slept in the dark i stayed asleep.
