March is Women's history month.Here is a great site with lots and lots of interesting information on women.Thereis so much info and even some quizzes to jog your mind. We have the rest of the month to celebrate Women's History Month,and I think we more then deserve a whole month.

Cool. Women deserve more reconigition than they get so much of the time. A women is such a wonderful assett to society. She is compassionate, loving, multitaker just to say a few of the simple things. I am glad that I am a woman

I have visited the web site mentioned and there is a lot of great information. The quizzes are challenging. Everyone should check out the site.

Yes! The college at which I teach nursing is having a wonderful series of panel discussions which include our female faculty. We also have a female judge visiting who is going to speak. Yes, we need a couple of months at least!So much to celebrate, so little time!

Yes, it works! A great link. I even found an Estonian listed there - our model Carmen Kass. By the way, we have in our library a book exhibition at the moment "Women in history". We wanted to show the books about women who were active in their time. We started with Hatshepsut and ended with Madeleine Albright.

Thank you for best response! Yes, it was interesting, there were more queens like Cleopatra, Elizabeth I, and Kathereine the Great, some saints, like Hildegard von Bingen and Mother Theresa, some writers, like Sigrid Undset and our poet Lydia Koidula, some scientists like Marie Curie and Sophia Kovalevsky represented etc.

Thanks for the reminder that it was womens history month. I am off on disability and usually at work we get lots of emails on this subject. I will go have a look a the site and I wish all my female friends on myLot a happy womens history month.
