One of the simpliest things my husband does for me- each and every day as a sign of his love, is make me a cup of tea every morning. He gets up earlier than I do of a morning to get ready for work- I get up just as he is about to leave, and every morning without fail he has a cup of tea waiting for me when I get out of the shower. It might not seem like a big deal, but to me it is everything- it shows that he has taken the time to stop and think about me before he walks out the door. It's not that he makes me one as he makes himself one- because he has his coffee an hour earlier.

An expression of love could be anything. It dosen't have to be an expensive gift, it can be a single flower or simply a kiss in the morning.

I don't think it is an expression of love giving a gift or a kiss, I think it's what you do and how you act with that person over a period of time. Even though some gifts can be an expression of love as the person puts thought into it and then it brings meaning.

I think a kiss expresses love in a lot better way than any expensive gift. I am not saysing that a gift dosent, it surely does on special occations but a kiss is always better than naything else.

Love can be expressed in so many ways even how simple it would me. If these are the only choices you mentioned, I say that my expression of love can be both through a kiss and gift to my partner. A kiss symbolizes intimacy, sweetness and romanticism while a gift symbolizes appreciation, reward, surprises, etc. When I give my boyfriend a gift, it is always sealed with a kiss. I find it more romantic and sweet if I do that. But, there are also a lot of ways that I show my love for him such as supporting him in every endeavor, taking care of him especially when he gets sick because he is so sickly, praying to God for more blessings for Him and his loved ones and a lot more. :)

Let me tell you about the sweetest gift I've ever received. This past Valentine's Day, my fiance and I weren't able to be together - he was in England awaiting the finalization of his fiance visa and I was here in Minnesota. Because of our situation, neither of us had any extra money to spend. My love sent me the sweetest, dearest letter I've ever received! I will always treasure it!

It doesn't have to be a kiss or gift. Expressing love is not about that. It's about how you really care about your love ones.
