well i just want to thank you to everyone for your advice on my growling dog he is getting there slowly but surely. he's alot better with his food although he did growl at me today over a bone i took it off him for 15 mins first time, but second time i took it off him and let him watch me throw it away.

just be firm with him, throwing the bone away does not mean anything to a dog, we would understand it - but a dog wouldn't. It is the act of controlling the food, bone etc that is important, if he growls you must say no to him firmly and you must nt show fear.
