What will the future be like?

I will hope that by the time 2020 comes around they will have either been able to find cures for our most horrible diseases and that we will be a more peacefull community. And that religion will play a big role in our lives and guide us.

I would like that in the future (2020) people would be more aware of pollution. that it will be in their nature to keep the environment clean and will be aware of Global Warming and try to reduce it. I hope we will advance technologically 8not on the cost of nature) and space exploration will be already a common thing. I would like for the world to have one leader and by this way decrease war (they can not be stopped because they are sadly the natural behavior of humankind.)... this is my utopia dream... but i guess the world will be the exact opposite of this by then.

i want the future should be well developed and technical facts want to improve much in it.

Hi Rogue13, In 2020 there will no longer be the U.S. We will have a one world government with just a world police. There will be no point in trying to work for a living because everything will go to pay taxes. Global warming will have proved to be the non issue that it is today. I see a not so bright future for this planet we live in.. Especially if we will not address immediately the problems we face now, such as global warming, greenhouse effect, deforestation.. The mvie "The Day After Tomorrow" i think signifies what may happen in the future if this carelessness continues.. On the other hand, technology will advance as it constantly does.. We may see flying cars all over the place and even Robots are everywhere, work will not be that hard because everything is programmes and all complex things are already automated.. I really wish that all kinds of disease especially cancer will be curable already in the future.. I wish that medicines are not so expensive like that of Chemo-teraphy that is used now.. I wish its just like the ordinary tablets that we take in.. And also I hope that population growth will be controlled or else WWWIII will be inevitable, the reason is nothing but territories..

I don't think the world will be any different in 2020, I mean, what has happened since 1995? Not much! The TV's are flatter and have better quality. And about the president...I dont give a crap :)

The world wil be at war and the USA will have occupational troops in Afghanistan, Korea, and Iraq. The President will be a republican with a split of control in congress. We will be fighting poverty in the world but ignoring it in the USA. We will be trying to fix relations with other countries throughout the world. We will be attempting to stop the melting of the polar Icecap. More people will blame the USA for its imperialism and China will emerge as a economic industrial power and cause much of the continuing environmental problems.

I think we will be divided into two categories: The poor people and the rich people. Nowadays we can see rich people are becoming richer and poor people are becoming poorer. But as a whole I can envision the road will be full of classy automobiles, and some might even be flying automobiles. I don't know who the president of US will be, though. About the global warming I think a drastic heat increase will happen to the Arctic and Antarctic areas. This will result in floods. But I hope it won't happen.

I hoe that by that time, technology that would be of a good help for everyone of us. I hope that science would do more productive things for us, and not to destroy our future.

A look into the future, interesting. 2020 is 12 years from now and based on how technologies seem to be sprouting out everywhere these days, I'll be things like tv's and radio's will be completely phased out and maybe even computers. All this stuff will eventually be replaced by your cellphone, and maybe even tv's will become computers, or vice verca. Hopefully cures for many diseases will have been made and people will be living alot longer, 100 years may become normal. I can't even begin to guess who the president of the U.S. would be, or if the U.S. would still even be a major world power in 2020. And global warming? I don't know because I don't necessarily believe it is as bad as they think, but I don't know. If you're looking for technologies of the Jetsons like flying cars and etc.. well, we're probably another 100 years from that stuff (just an estimate). :-P

I think Global warming will be worse,, There will be a minority president. I think the world be worse and the war in Iraq will still be going on.

I think that if the Earth to be destroyed, the future would not exist, we might consider now is not the territorial issue, nor is the housing problem, but how to let the Earth will not weep...
