I quite agree and that sort of topic fodder seems to litter the top lists. Quite the shame. Then, of course, we have the strictness imposed on ourselves, so that we do things that we can earn from. All goes against simple chat about interesting thoughts people may have. It's like sticking to a code and all at breakneck speed to get some cents out of it !

I agree with you. I go through alot of discussions every day and I find that I am deleting more discussions than I am responding to. when I first started Mylot, I was replying to about 100 discussions per day and now I am lucky if I get to respond to about 50 of them. Alot of the discussions do not make sense and alot of them, I know nothing about. Some of the discussions asks very silly questions. I cannot spend time trying to answer a discussion with quality when all I can think of is a one sentence response to them. I like to make a conversation or a good response to the topic that was started. I just cannot relate to alot of them any more. My earnings have went way down because I cannot respond to as many discussions that I would like to every day.

Yes you are right.Those are the questions which to answer you ahve to be a very very strong character.

Why not share what you know and get some earnings for it. I can make a paragraph about my favorite color for example. So take the opportunity to respond and hopefully teach and earn at the same time. It doesn't bother me, but as I stated in one of my discussions I don't like to take part in topics on religion. I just pass over all these topics. I must say though, that you make a very valid point. I was asked questiong like this when I was in junior infant school so I don't think these questions make for a quality discussion.
